Ingredients
Mustard seeds -1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Ginger finely chopped -1 big piece
Garlic -5
Onion -15
Curry leaves -1 stem
Coriander powder-3 tsp
Chilly powder-2tsp
Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
Chicken masala - 2 1/2 tsp
Coconut milk -1/4 glass
Preparation
1.Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds
2.Add ginger, chopped garlic ,green chilies and curry leaves ,saute well.
3.Add the onion slices and cook, stirring until wilted. Reduce the heat and cook, stirring frequently, until the onions develop a rich golden color.
[Tip 1 :The more you fry the onion ,the better it tastes!]
4.Add 3tsp coriander powder,1/4tsp turmeric powder,2 tsp chilly powder,2 1/2 tsp chicken masala and saute well.
5.Cook well till the oil separates from the onion
6.Add 1/4 glass coconut milk and stir well.
7.After 2 minutes ,add 3 glass water (depends on the gravy you need) and boil well.
8.Switch off the flame after 5 minutes.

5.Cook well till the oil separates from the onion
6.Add 1/4 glass coconut milk and stir well.
7.After 2 minutes ,add 3 glass water (depends on the gravy you need) and boil well.
8.Switch off the flame after 5 minutes.
